In 2008, he received language training at St. Giles International in Brigton, England. He began his think tank career in 2009 as a Researcher at TEPAV, later working as a Policy Analyst at the same institution and as a Consultant at TEPAV Middle East and Central Asia Research Institute. He also worked simultaneously at TOBB BIS. Additionally, Y\u0131lmaz served as an Advisor to the President of a political party with a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
